Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to use of the Nuummite Psychotherapy website. By using this website, you agree to use it only for lawful, non-emergency, and appropriate informational or scheduling purposes.
This website is not emergency care
This website and its contact forms are not monitored 24 hours a day and are not designed for crisis support. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or call or text 9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline at 9-8-8.
No therapist-client relationship is created by website use
Reading this website, submitting a form, calling the practice, or using a booking link does not create a therapist-client relationship. A therapist-client relationship begins only after appropriate intake, consent, clinical fit, service availability, and professional requirements are confirmed by the practice.
Website information is not clinical advice
Content on this website is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not a substitute for psychotherapy, diagnosis, treatment, emergency support, medical care, legal advice, or advice from another qualified professional who understands your specific situation.
Appropriate use of contact forms
Website forms should be used only for non-urgent inquiries, scheduling questions, and general requests for information. Do not submit detailed personal health information, trauma history, clinical records, or urgent safety concerns through website forms or ordinary email. Detailed clinical information is collected through appropriate intake processes.
Booking and appointment availability
Nuummite Psychotherapy uses Jane App for booking and practice administration. Appointment requests, consultation requests, and form submissions are not guaranteed until confirmed through the appropriate practice process. Fees, scheduling availability, session format, and clinical fit are confirmed before services proceed.
Professional regulation and service area
Nuummite Psychotherapy operates in Ontario, Canada. Services are provided in accordance with applicable Ontario laws, professional standards, and the requirements of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Virtual therapy is available only where it is professionally, legally, clinically, and practically appropriate.
Third-party links and services
This website may link to third-party services, including booking platforms, social profiles, maps, or external resources. Those third-party websites operate under their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and availability standards. Nuummite Psychotherapy is not responsible for third-party website content or technical issues.
Intellectual property
Website text, design, layout, branding, and other materials are provided for personal informational use. They may not be copied, republished, scraped, sold, or used to misrepresent affiliation with Nuummite Psychotherapy without written permission.
Limitation of website availability
The website is provided as available. Website content, functionality, booking links, or pages may be updated, changed, interrupted, or removed as the practice evolves. Reasonable care is taken to keep information accurate, but the website does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when website functions, practice operations, professional requirements, or applicable laws change. The date at the top of this page shows the most recent update.
